B4U-ACT held its second research-oriented symposium, entitled “Expanding the Focus of Research on Minor-Attracted People,” on Saturday, September 22, 2018, in Baltimore, MD. Approximately 50 people attended, including minor-attracted persons (MAPs), mental health professionals, researchers, and advocates. The program included a keynote talk, four paper presentations, and three discussion sessions. For the first time at a B4U-ACT event, a second meeting day was set aside for informal discussions from 10 am to 5 pm. This proved popular, with about half of the Saturday attendees also attending at least part of the day on Sunday. More details about the program, and slide shows from the paper presentations, are available on the symposium webpage.
